ADI cares about the long-lasting, positive impact we make on each other, our customers, our communities, and the planet. One of ADI's key values is to Make a Difference by working with nonprofits like Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
In particular, their Workforce Readiness Program gives students the opportunity to visit local businesses and explore possible vocations. ADI's Dallas and Melville Support Centers recently partnered for the second time with their local Boys & Girls Clubs to host a "Bring A Youth To ADI" day.
During these one-day events, Dallas team members welcomed students from Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas and Melville team members were visited by students from Hicksville Boys & Girls Club. ADI teams gave presentations to students on various business functions including inside sales, web design, digital marketing and commercialization, brand marketing and events, marketing communications, transportation, strategic pricing, operations, category management and more.
Some ADI team members also brought in their children and young-adult relatives to participate in the activities. Students had a chance to interact with ADI team members and ask questions, and everyone expressed their positive feedback on the event.
"Our team was delighted to host the local Boys & Girls Clubs at our offices for the second time. Their Workforce Readiness program has a meaningful impact on future leaders, and we were glad to help make a difference for such a great cause," said Rob Aarnes, President of ADI Global Distribution.
