Brian Walker

Brian Walker brings extensive leadership experience in digital transformation, e-commerce, sales operations, and supply chain management to the ADI Board. His deep expertise in driving growth through technology, operational excellence, and customer-focused innovation provides valuable insight as ADI continues its evolution as an independent public company.

Mr. Walker is Senior Vice President, Sales and Onsite Services at W.W. Grainger, Inc., a leading broadline distributor with primary operations in North America and Japan. Reporting to the CEO, he is an experienced operator and strategist with 25 years of leadership across supply chain, sales operations, pricing, merchandising, strategy, and technology. He currently leads Grainger's $9 billion digital business and enterprise-wide digital transformation, leveraging deep operational expertise and digital innovation to drive growth, efficiency, and customer loyalty.

Mr. Walker has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility at Grainger. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer, following positions including Vice President of Digital Architecture and Operations and President of Gamut.com. While headquartered in London, England, he also served as Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for Grainger's Online Business, with responsibility for operations in Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

In parallel with his corporate leadership, Mr. Walker is actively engaged in higher education and academic governance, serving as an instructor at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, where he teaches digital transformation in executive education programs for CIO and CIDO audiences. He is a member of the President's Council at Wesleyan University and a founding member of its Quantitative Analytics Center, a lifetime trustee and Executive Committee member of the Illinois Institute of Technology and its Institute of Design, and a member of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges.

Mr. Walker holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.S. in Applied Statistics from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University, and a CIO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon Heinz College.
