Donations will be used to Provide Backpacks, School Supplies and Hygiene Kits to Children in Need.

ADI recently hosted a virtual fundraiser with Mission 500 to raise money to help underserved children. Thank you to those who contributed to the fundraising efforts. With your help, more than $93k was raised and will go to support children in need across our communities. Mission 500 is a nonprofit that works closely with the security industry to serve the needs of children and communities in crisis across the U.S. and Canada.

"The work being done by Mission 500 is extremely important, and ADI is proud to host this fundraising event and support their efforts," said Bob Appleby, vice president and general manager of ADI North America. "The generosity from our teams and supplier partners has been humbling, and together we are able to make a bigger impact in our communities."

This is the second year ADI partnered with Mission 500, and the results from this year's program more than doubled what was raised last year. As part of the efforts, team members across ADI and Resideo made personal donations to support the cause and ADI North America matched all the employee contributions that were received. Additionally, ADI called upon its supplier partners to support the initiatives with sponsorships at Platinum, Gold and Silver levels.

Garrett Savage, U.S. director of product management at ADI, played a significant role in securing donations from ADI's supplier partners. He took it on as a personal challenge and made individual phone calls to suppliers providing details on the program, and ultimately garnering their support. Garrett's work has helped raise close to $100k over the past two years.

Although ADI's fundraising campaign has now ended, you can still donate directly to Mission 500 on their website, or by shopping through AmazonSmile. When you shop at AmazonSmile, they will donate to your favorite charitable organization, at no cost to you. Mission 500 is part of this program.
