Rob Aarnes is the President of ADI, a leading distributor and solution provider of security, AV and smart living products, services and software. He oversees all business operations and is dedicated to driving sustained growth with a customer-focused approach. Rob is also a member of Resideo's executive leadership team and serves as a Section 16 Officer.

As President, Rob has successfully led ADI's transformation to strengthen its value proposition, maximize its global network and deliver a robust omnichannel customer experience. He has spearheaded investments in people, technology, new product categories, ecommerce, geographic expansion, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), all contributing to positive business outcomes. Under his leadership, the business has executed seven acquisitions, including the recent merger of Snap One into ADI.

With a strong background in cultivating relationships with customers and suppliers, Rob leads a comprehensive portfolio that includes over 1,000 brands and an extensive range of proprietary products. Drawing on his experience in retail, distribution, and manufacturing, he continues to shape the vision and strategy that drive ADI forward.

Before being appointed President in 2017, Rob led ADI's North American business. Prior to ADI, he held various senior leadership roles within private equity, specialty retail and big box consumer electronics companies.

Rob holds an MBA from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he served as Supply Officer, specializing in global supply chain logistics and contracting services.

Rob is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and currently serves as the executive sponsor for the Veterans@Resideo employee resource group.
