Meet the ADI Leadership Team

Rob Aarnes is President and Chief Executive Officer of ADI (NYSE: ADIG), a leading global specialty distributor of professionally installed low-voltage products, services, and solutions. Through a network of more than 200 locations worldwide and a robust omnichannel platform, ADI serves more than 100,000 professional customers across the commercial and residential markets.

As President and CEO, Rob has guided ADI through a period of significant growth and transformation, strengthening the company's market position, expanding its global footprint, and enhancing the omnichannel customer experience. Under his leadership, ADI has invested in people, technology, digital commerce, new product categories, geographic expansion, and strategic acquisitions, including the merger of Snap One into ADI. He also played a key role in ADI's successful separation from Resideo and transition to an independent, publicly traded company.

With deep expertise spanning distribution, retail, manufacturing, and private equity, Rob is passionate about building strong customer and supplier partnerships and driving sustainable, long-term growth. He oversees a portfolio of more than 1,000 brands and a broad offering of proprietary products that help customers create safer, smarter, and more connected spaces around the world.

Prior to being named President in 2017, Rob led ADI's North American business. Before joining ADI, he held a variety of senior leadership roles across private equity-backed businesses, specialty retail, and consumer electronics organizations. Rob also serves on the Board of Directors of MSC Industrial Supply Co. (NYSE: MSM).

Rob holds an MBA from San Diego State University and a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he served as a Supply Officer specializing in global supply chain logistics and contracting services. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
