Responsible Marketing Policy

At Snap One, we take great pride in our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices, and build trust through integrity and transparency in our relationships with customers, partners, and the communities we serve. This commitment extends to how we market our products, ensuring that our marketing efforts are truthful, respectful, and aligned with our values.

This policy extends to all Snap One’s marketing practices and communications with share holders, partners, and consumers.

Honesty and Integrity in Marketing

We commit to providing accurate and truthful information about our products, services, and company, and expect the same of our partners. Our marketing materials, including advertisements, product descriptions, and promotional content, will be factual, clear, and not misleading.

We pledge to:

  • Strive to be transparent about the features and characteristics of our products;
  • Portray testimonials and reviews accurately, without distorting the meaning to our benefit;
  • Strive to protect ours and others’ intellectual property by respecting copyrights and trademarks.

We will not engage in any form of discriminatory practices based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. We will also strive to make our online content accessible for people with disabilities, such as visual and hearing impairments.

Responsible Targeting and Advertising

We strive to responsibly target our marketing efforts to appropriate audiences. We will avoid marketing to vulnerable groups, including children, without proper consent or in a manner that could exploit their inexperience or lack of judgment. We respect consumers privacy and are transparent about our use of any personal data we are provided.  We allow persons to customize or opt-out of our use of cookies on our websites or request to have their personal information deleted.

Environmental Responsibility

We recognize potential environmental impacts of our products and marketing activities. We avoid any misrepresentation of the potential environmental impacts of our products and ensure any product claims are appropriately substantiated. We continue our efforts to reduce paper waste by converting paper marketing manuals and materials to product QR codes, and by using recycled packaging and filler to ship our products.

Continuous Improvement

We continue to evaluate and improve our marketing practices and strive to evolve with industry standards, guidelines, and best practices to continue to enhance our ethical marketing efforts.
